We have a dump station, free for guests to use on departure or during their stay (we do charge for dumping on arrival), and we have a county permitted honey pumper service that can come to the site to evacuate grey and black tanks - so you don't have to break camp. Honey pumper service is $30.00 for a scheduled pump of standard tanks (less than 100 gallons) and $40.00 for emergency pumps (or for more than 100 gallons). Sign up in the office for septic pumping.

Mosquitos are prevalent in spring. We provide bat and swallow houses on our grounds for natural mosquito control. We sell bug repellant and firewood in the camp office.

Wi-Fi signal is broadcast from the office towards the stage and does not extend to our cabins or campsites. Please be advised our internet access is limited and most guests needing to do work besides basic emails will go off site for better internet service.

Wi-Fi network is starlinkLFR and password is lakefive

Cell phone service can be spotty in camp and depends on your carrier and demand on local infrastructure.

Cable TV is not available at Lake Five Resort.

Camp Showers are token operated, please purchase tokens during office hours. Laundry takes quarters, $1.00 to wash, $2.00 to dry, exchange in office.

SAFETY & DISCLAIMER

Please secure your own valuables! Lake Five Resort is not responsible for loss or theft. We do not recommend leaving camp items (chairs, stove, cooler, firewood etc.) as they may look abandoned if you do not have a tent, vehicle, or trailer set up in your site. Please make arrangements with the office if you need items stored while you are gone.

Lake Five Resort is not responsible for any accidents or injuries on property. No Life Guard on Duty, swim at your own risk. Do not jump or dive from slide. Do not rock docks, tip or flip swim platforms!

Be Bear Aware: Bears have been sighted strolling through camp from time to time. Please do not leave food or scented items outside. Make sure you tie your garbage bags and place them in one of the secure dumpsters around camp.

Do not leave food out as it will attract wildlife. Food must be stored in your camper or vehicle.

Lake Five Resort is an Historic Property. Our cabins and campground were built in the 1920’s when folks brought tents and Model T’s. Make sure your RV does not exceed the described length of the site reserved. We are happy to assist you to maximize space in your site and in our campground, we love Happy Campers! There are weekends when campsites are full between Flathead Lake and Glacier Park and we will be too. It might be, that the ideal Lake Five experience lies in the timing. If you desire a private vacation environment, the seven-week stretch starting the first week of July might not be for you. Try us in June or in September. The crowd has not arrived or is gone and the place will be yours.

Burlington Northern Railway began laying track on the far side of Lake Five in the 1880s and was instrumental in the creation of Glacier National Park in 1910. Trains were rumbling by when the Lake Five Resort property was homesteaded in 1915, and they still do. Expect to hear trains during your stay at Lake Five Resort.

PET POLICY

Lake Five Resort is pet friendly. Dogs are $10.00 per day, per dog in the campground. With documentation provided, pet fees may be waived for your registered service dog in the campground.

Pets in cabins are determined on a case by case basis depending on age, breed, and demeanor. Please email with your pet in cabin request.

Pets must be leashed and picked up after – No dogs in the stage grass or swimming areas. Dogs may swim off leash at the launching ramp ONLY. Do not leave your pet unattended in camp or in cabins. Traveling and staying in a new place can be an overstimulating experience for pets. The sound of barking dogs can be overstimulating for people in camp. Putting pets inside in a familiar environment is the best solution for your pet and the other guests in camp. We do our best to provide a peaceful camp for all of our guests. Please make arrangements to board your pet rather than leave them alone in our camp. We recommend 3 Dog Ranch in Whitefish "https://www.3dogranchmt.com" or Glacier Bark Kennels in Columbia Falls "https://www.glacierbarkkennels.com/"

Do not leave pet food outside unattended. Pet food must be stored securely.

Many guests enjoy walking leashed pets around camp. Clean up after your pet immediately! We want to keep the Resort nice for our guests. If your pet displays aggressive or disruptive behavior you may be asked to leave without refund.

Here at Lake Five, we’re proud to showcase our resort and feature moments of magic around the grounds. Do not worry, personal information such as license plates will never be featured. If you come across any instances of media production where you’d like to opt out or notice yourself in any of our social media, please let us know and we’ll take the content down. On the other hand, if you notice someone with a camera in their hand whether it be a cell phone or a cinema camera and you want some screen time, flag them down! Lake Five was built around moments and we hope to share the love and joy this place brings to as many individuals as we can. Follow us on Instagram: @LakeFiveResort
