To ensure a smooth and enjoyable visit to the park, please take note of the following details:
Reservation Requirements:
West side entrances, including the North Fork, Camas, and West Entrance, require reservations from May 26 to September 10, between 6 am and 3 pm.
East side entrances, including Many Glacier, Two Medicine, and the Going-to-the-Sun Road from Rising Sun, require reservations from July 1 to September 10, between 6 am and 3 pm.
Entry Requirements: If you plan to enter the park in a vehicle or on a motorcycle during the specified dates, you must have the following:
Either a vehicle reservation or a service reservation
Either a Park Entrance Fee or a valid Park Pass (Annual, Senior, Military, etc.). For a complete list of qualifying Entrance Fees and Passes, please refer to our website.
Park Access: The park remains open 24/7, allowing visitors to enter before 6 am or after 3 pm without a vehicle reservation. For more information on visiting without a reservation, please visit our website.
Already Booked an Activity? If you have made reservations for lodging, camping, or a commercial activity such as boat tours or horseback rides, you do not need a vehicle reservation. Simply present your confirmation email to access the designated area of the park related to your booked activity. Further details can be found below.
Vehicle Reservation Release Dates: A portion of vehicle reservations is made available four months in advance. The remaining reservations will be released 24 hours prior to the desired visit. 24-hour reservations can be booked daily starting at 8 am MDT on the day preceding the planned visit.
